Audrey Gonzalez, LCPC (IL), LPC (MO)
Owner & Therapist
I believe therapy should be a safe place, where people can be authentic. That includes me! My clients often tell me they appreciate my realness in sessions. It doesn’t have to be a blank slate. I’m a person too…one that loves to crochet, go for runs on a beautiful fall day, listen to pop punk music & Taylor Swift, and laugh REALLY hard. I understand coming to talk to a stranger is hard. I’ve been there. I hope we can work together to build the trust necessary to help you find your path to healing.
I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. I then graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016 from Eastern Illinois University. I obtained my Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor license in 2019 and have experience working with individuals ages 3 & up, parents (as a unit or individually), and families. I consider my approach to be eclectic in nature, utilizing a variety of theoretical approaches and models based on what is best fit for each client. Some approaches/modalities I may utilize include, but are not limited to play/art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotionally focused individual therapy. I approach sessions using a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens.
I am licensed to provide counseling services in Illinois and Missouri.

Dani Nuzzi
Practicum Student
My name is Dani Nuzzi and I am currently a graduate student at Liberty University studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University in 2017. Before entering my counseling program, I spent time working in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient mental health hospitals, substance abuse recovery centers, and volunteered with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. In these settings I have worked with adults, emerging adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, trauma survivors, and individuals with a range of mental health diagnoses. I am passionate about meeting people where they are at and supporting them through their growth with compassion and understanding. Life is full of challenges, and I believe everyone deserves a nonjudgemental space to express their feelings, hopes, fears, joys, and goals. In my personal time I am a lover of fall, books, blankets, sweatpants, and a little sweet treat. I also enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, playing with my dog, spending time with my family, practicing yoga, and binge-watching docuseries.
